We need to put America first.

In my opinion, America needs immigrants. America needs people that can integrate into and contribute to, our society. In fact, immigration helped build our great nation.

But there is a problem. We have almost 18,000 immigrants entering our country every day, and since 2020 almost 2,000,000 immigrants have entered our country illegally. This uncontrolled southern border has allowed untold numbers of human traffickers, drug runners, and criminals to enter our country. This by itself is a major issue for America. But did you know that our government is giving these illegal immigrants smart phones and tablets, paying for food, housing, medical care, and transportation. Billions of dollars spent on people that violated our laws. All paid for with your tax dollars.

I am not without compassion. I believe we should help legal immigrants for a short time so they can get their feet under them and become contributing members of our society. But we can't afford to continue as we are. We appear to have no sensible people in charge of our spending or immigration process.

Our government is giving billions of our tax dollars to illegal immigrants. Don't our elected representatives realize we are almost $32 trillion in debt already? Yes, our elected representatives do know how much we are in debt, because they are preparing to raise the national debt ceiling again.

If I were the US President, I would form a team of experts to identify the exact problem and come up with possible solutions for the American people to decide on. It may be as simple as we implement a controlled method of allowing immigrants to enter America based on the number of immigrants each state believes they can support and then assimilate, and to work with border states to prevent illegal entry into our country (using a wall, the national guard, or our own military if necessary).
