Biography

A Commitment to Honesty and Integrity

I was born in Florida in 1961 to Hazel, an unwed mother. My mom later met and married my adoptive father. Three years after I was born my parents gave me a sister, and a year after that, I got a brother. We lived in a trailer park for several years until my parents saved up enough to buy a house in Hollywood Florida. When I was 16, my parents decided to move to Nevada, so I spent the last 2 years of high school there. After high school I joined the US Navy and spent about 8 years in the nuclear power program. I received an honorable discharge when I left military service in 1988. Since leaving the military, I have worked at commercial nuclear power plants in California, Georgia, Maryland, and New York.

In 1993, I was shocked when I was informed I had an 18-month-old daughter named Rebecca. I have always believed family is very important. I asked the mother and she agreed, to allow me to raise my daughter. My daughter lived with me until she graduated high school and then joined the US Navy.

I retired in 2014 and moved to Tennessee with my wife Kerry.

From the time I graduated high school until I retired in 2014, I didn't have much time to spend thinking about what my government was doing. I always had food on the table and a roof over my head. With my abundant spare time, I started watching the local, national, and world news outlets. For me. those news outlets started painting a bleak picture of our government.  It seemed every time I turned on the news or surfed the internet, an elected or appointed official was being accused of wrongdoings. And to add insult to injury, the news outlets were biased concerning those accusations. Griping about it to my neighbors was having no effect. Then I thought about running for congress but didn't for two reasons. 1. a single congressman can only do so much when faced with hundreds of elected or appointed officials breaking laws. 2. I think the state of Tennessee is already being properly and honorably represented. That is why I am running for President of the United States. From that position, I can inform the American people of what the elected or appointed officials are doing. You won't have to rely on the biased news outlets that slant the news in their favor. It will still be up to you, the American people, to bring your elected or appointed officials to heel, but you can do so based on unbiased information.
