Imagine going to the dentist and the receptionist tells you the only dentist available has no experience in dentistry. Would you let that dentist work on your teeth? I think not.
What if you were boarding a plane and learned the pilot has no experience flying planes. Would you still get on that plane? I think not.
We want qualified and experienced experts handling our affairs, right? The same should apply to our government. We should rest easy knowing our government would only choose experts to handle our major issues, right? Then why did ex-president Trump appoint his son in law (who had no experience in middle east affairs) to help solve problems in the middle east? It's been 6 years now and we still have problems there. Why was the vice president (who has no expertise or experience in this area) selected to take charge of our southern border? Its been over 2 years now and the southern border is worse now than before our VP was put in charge.
Solving problems is not that difficult. If it was me, I would create small working groups of experts to properly identify the issues and come up with possible solutions. Then present those solutions to the American people for approval. Doesn't that sound better than what's been going on?
