Saving the Innocent in the War in Gaza

Hamas was the elected government of Gaza in 2007 and has not allowed any elections since 2007. Since its inception, Hamas has attacked Israel many times. Almost every time Hamas attacks Israel, Israel retaliates with sanctions or attacks of their own. This results in innocents being killed or the entire Palestinian population suffering under these sanctions. It is the responsibility of the Palestinians to clean up this mess.

It has been reported that Hamas has between 15,000-50,000 soldiers. The population of Gaza roughly 2,300,000, so the Palestinians far outnumber Hamas. The easiest way for Palestinians to end this war is to remove Hamas from power.

News outlets are reporting on the innocent men, women, and children being killed in this war. The palestinian death toll in the Israeli/Hamas war is over 13,000, with about 1/2 of the casualties being women, children, and the elderly. If the Palestinian people cared about their land, their women, and their children, they would stand up to Hamas and end this war.
