"Interpreting state laws; Determining the guilt or innocence of those accused of violating the criminal laws of the state; Acting as a check upon the legislative and executive branches of state government" is a short, paraphrased description of the duties of the Judicial Branch of our government. Everything done by the Judicial Branch of our government should be readily available to the American people. Recently, the Judicial Branch of our government heavily redacted the paperwork it used to justify raiding a former US President's home. Unless it's an actual copy of a national security document, there is no reason for such excessive redacting. What is the reason for the secrecy? As Americans, we are responsible for the actions our government takes. How can we choose our government representatives if we are not shown what they do while in office?
