Are your elected representatives working for you?

Back when our country was founded, it took a while to get our elected representatives to the capital. So once our representative travelled to the capital, we did not have any control over our representative. We hoped our elected representative would introduce and vote on bills that were in our best interest. The American people would not know for weeks or even months, what their representative did while in office.

Today we have phones and the internet. These two modern inventions can allow us to guide our elected representatives toward our best interest. We just need to do two things:

1. VOTE. Take an active part in your government. Elect representatives that will listen to his/her constituents while performing his/her duties.

2. Give your representative your input.
